Windy City Deaf Awareness Night

Windy City Bulls turned out a big Deaf Awareness Night.

Strong community night for the Windy City Bulls for a group that can be overlooked at sporting events.

Windy City Bulls will provide interpreters throughout the event. Special appearance from Crom Saunders – he will be performing the National Anthem! Don’t miss this historical event!

Cromania! is Crom Saunders’ one-man show featuring skits that incorporate pop culture, impersonations, improvisation, American Sign language, puns, and physical feats into one big laugh fest. Crom came up with the idea for this show based on his love of books, theatre, and movies. He draws a lot from contemporary film and theatre, but also pays homage to the classics like Shakespeare and classic horror movies.

Saturday, January 12 the Windy City Bulls recognized their Deaf and hard of hearing friends during Deaf Awareness Night at the Sears Centre Arena. Team will wear specially designed jerseys that spell “Bulls” in American Sign Language. The uniforms will be auctioned off with proceeds donated to Illinois Association of the Deaf. The first 1,000 fans also received Windy City’s first-ever bobblehead giveaway featuring Gus T. Bull and Benny the Bull.
