Trash Pile in the Heartland

An organic Trash Pile is starting to burn in the Heartland.

An organic group of fans has been seen at several Iowa Heartlander games, creating a bit of energy and buzz around the new ECHL team near Iowa City.

Jordan Cue from the Heartlanders explains the group has self-labeled themselves the “Trash-Pile and Garbage Gals”.  They came to a game in December as “regular fans” and had the “best night of their lives at the Heartlanders game”…which spawned their more passionate return.

Smartly the team is embracing the group and open to seeing what it can evolve into, including giving them a little love on social media…
