This party string provides a silly yet spectacular experience. Assorted colors only. Over 500 feet of string in each can. 3.5 oz can.
This Party String is the proper size can to shoot with the 6 Gun String Silly Shooter on The Store.
A flexible, brightly-colored plastic string, which is shot as a stream of liquid from an aerosol can. The string sets quickly in mid-air, allowing one to shoot a continuous strand of it.
Silly String is popular for usage during weddings, birthday parties, school carnivals and other festive occasions.
Note: Some municipal authorities are also worried about Silly String for a very practical reason. Sprayed string can make a mess. Several cities have banned the use of Silly String during celebrations, at parades and on holidays like Halloween. In addition to being hard to remove from concrete and brick, the strands are essentially sticky plastic, so they can clog storm drains and take up space in landfills. Please check with local regulations for use outside.

According to the Wham-O history timeline, the company introduced Silly String in 1972. The USPTO’s trademark information for the Silly String logo tells a slightly different story. According to the trademark application, the first use of the logo was on August 6, 1969.
