Teams across the CHL, NHL and OHL are asking fans to help create a game worn jersey.
The crowd-sourcing isn’t because they don’t have great graphic departments, it’s build affinity for their teams and brands. Giving fans a chance to be engaged connects the fans and teams in a powerful way….especially the winners who are invited to the game their jerseys are worn.
The contest has a simple page to submit designs (and outlines the rules), and the page is used by all the active leagues running the promotion.
The Saskatoon Blades recently used some fan designs for their dasher board as well, see it here: Blade City Run By Kids – Kids are taking over the show and the dasher boards in Blade City.
