Black History Performance in Detroit

Pistons Dance Team number hits the theme night with live drummer and outfits.

Last Weekend I make a trip to Toledo and Detroit, catching the Walleye, Pistons and Red Wings.  With these strong productions fresh in my mind I will feature Water Cooler Moments from these teams this week.

Black History Month is feature celebration for all NBA teams.  The elements vary by team from honoring local heroes of the Black community to building entertainment featuring Black artists or their inspired works.  Finding the right tone and balance is obviously the key to making the celebration work.

The Detroit Pistons Dancers presented a great time out routine featuring a live drummer with a dance inspired by African roots and culture.  The team also wore costumed skirts to honor the heritage.  The number was both interesting and well-received.
