I was listening to David Stern (Commissioner of the NBA) talk with Bill Simmons today about all things NBA. Bill brought up what he views as the NBA’s biggest hurdle in the upcoming decades … the fact that the home viewing environment has become so extensive that fans have less and less reasons to actually attend games live.

This month’s update is headlined by a outstanding tribute to broadcaster Bob Blackburn by Pat Walker. The rest of the month’s content seems inconsequential to his tribute, I will give it a cursory overview in this blog post.

Is it just me…or has the thought process changed recently on when and how much confetti to use at sporting events?
