While running a sports entertainment and event production company, I’ve experienced a wide variety of game ops styles…but my latest is somewhat of a game ops dream.

A very interesting documentary called “Sonicsgate” was released earlier this month at the Seattle International Film Festival.

Personally, I don’t think there’s one correct approach…like many areas of game presentation, it should be customized to the market and each organization’s entertainment philosophy.

And for those of you whose minds were intrigued by the music in the opening paragraph, I spent a little time in the studio and came up with the first couple verses for “Tweet It”…take it from here, Weird Al.

One game presentation element that typically goes hand-in-hand with a big anniversary is a celebratory theme night, accompanied by a pregame or halftime ceremony. While the bells, whistles and budgets range greatly on these ceremonies, here are a few quick tips to keep in mind no matter the scale.
