Best of 2012: The Gameops.com Review

Best Entertainment Group:

Performance Group whose work was fresh, creative and interesting, serving as a valuable tool for their team and in their community. Providing quality entertainment and additional value for fans. All sports team performance groups are eligible. Consider quality, uniqueness, and marketplace value.

Winner: Vancouver Dancing Grounds Crew

Standing a top the field this year are the Vancouver Canadians Grounds Crew. Unlike some dancing grounds crews Vancouver is legitimately made of the real crew who unassumingly take great pride in both there grass (plant) and their grapevine (dance step).  Their dancing stands out in Vancouver amidst an otherwise more puritan game presentation, which also helps to create the special aura that surround this team.

Honorable Mention: Charlotte Bobcats Lady Cats

The NBA's Lady Cats dance team has been rising the to the top of the NBA for the last several years.  The team is promoted by the team as a primary entertainment element on the floor and in the community.  On the court the high level of talent and choreography match the Bobcat's belief in the team.
