Tic-Tac-GO!

badge_ticNew this month from Gameops.com is another large-scale contest for your in-game presentation called Tic-Tac-GO!.

It’s been an interesting journey on this product.  We actually worked on this with a couple clients years ago, but recently found a new printing solution for the large coroplast signs, making the game much more inexpensive.

The game is also really fun for fans, turning Tic-Tac-Toe into a spectator sport.  What’s funny is that the contestants have a hard time playing the game with any strategy, since it happens so fast and you have a hard time processing where to put your square.  The whole crowd obviously sees the next best play but the scrambling contestant usually doesn’t.

I played a couple rounds and found it nearly impossible to play with any sense.  In an odd way it also reduces the number of “cat” games (ties).

Check out the game and the video, we think it’s a very good on-court game for teams at all levels.
