The Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL have an official myspace page to promote game dates, share information about the team, and interact directly with young fans.
They have done a nice job with the page, with clean custom graphics. As of this writing they have 622 friends….which means they can (for the cost of $0.00) email or “post a bulletin” about upcoming games or events to 622 fans.
They also have player blogs, team highlights, calendars and photos.
For a minimal investment in time they have a solid and flexible connection point to their most loyal fans.
Do you have a myspace page for your team, mascot, in-arena host, game operations department? Why not?
